The Cost of a Beer and Hot Dog at Every NFL Stadium

Each year, sports-business data firm Team Marketing Report releases its NFL Fan Cost index, which gauges what it costs a family of four to attend a stadium game. It looks at ticket prices, parking, merchandise, and — for the focus of this analysis — the cost of beer and hot dogs at every stadium for all 32 NFL teams. And regardless of which team prevails in the Super Bowl on Feb. 12, one thing is for sure — one of them is a much bigger winner when it comes to saving fans money.

• Price of a Beer: $5.53
• Price of a Hot Dog: $5.66

When you factor in variables such as tickets, parking, merchandise, and the rest, the Bengals boasts the cheapest overall cost for an outing of any NFL team for the fourth year in a row. The brews and hot dogs are less than the league average, despite prices for both going up since last season.

• Price of a Beer: $7
• Price of a Hot Dog: $4.75

Arizona remains one of the cheapest places to catch an NFL game, and it shows at the concession stand. Though the price of beer went up 50 cents from 2021, it's still less than the average league price, and the team's stadium remains one of only seven among the NFL's 32 teams that features a sub-$5 dog.

• Price of a Hot Dog: $6.50

The price of a beer didn't go up this year at Ford Field, but a frank costs a quarter more than in 2021. A frosty cold one is only $5, which ties the Lions with the Atlanta Falcons, Miami Dolphins, and New York's Giants and Jets for the title of cheapest drafts in the league.

• Price of a Beer: $11.50
• Price of a Hot Dog: $6.75

The lowly Jags offer concession prices that are pretty high, but overall, its one of the cheapest teams in football to watch. Beer is still a whopping $11.50, though, at least that's for a 16-ounce cup. Hot dogs jumped 50 cents.

• Price of a Beer: $5
• Price of a Hot Dog: $4

Both beer and hot dogs got less expensive at Hard Rock Stadium this season, something that the team's fans can love just as much as its winning record. That helps keep it one of the cheapest teams to see.

• Price of a Beer: $5
• Price of a Hot Dog: $6

The 2021 New York Jets were impossibly bad even by Jets' standards, but the good news is the price of a beer and hot dog didn't change this season. Beer sets you back only a fiver, while a dog is a buck more.

• Price of a Beer: $11.50
• Price of a Hot Dog: $7.25

Both the price of a beer and hot dog went up in 2022 at Bills' games. Considering the beer is 20 ounces, the cost per ounce is exactly the league average, despite the initial sticker shock. 

• Price of a Beer: $8
• Price of a Hot Dog: $5.75 

Indy didn't raise the prices of either beer or dogs this season. Both are under the league average price, contributing to the Colts' games being one of the cheaper ones to attend. 

• Price of a Beer: $10.50
• Price of a Hot Dog: $6

Tennessee is still one of the 10 cheapest teams to see in football — but no thanks to concession prices. Both are above the league average, though neither one increased for the 2022 season.

• Price of a Beer: $5
• Price of a Hot Dog: $2

The Falcons boast the cheapest hot dog in the NFL again this year, at just a couple bucks. A beer will set you back just $5, though the close-to-average ticket prices to get in the stadium make the day less affordable.

• Price of a Beer: $9.99
• Price of a Hot Dog: $5.99

Panthers fans got a break on beer of 51 cents this year, but hot dogs almost doubled in price from just $3 in 2021. Can't win them all — just like the team's lackluster 2022 season so far.

• Price of a Beer: $11
• Price of a Hot Dog: $8

Though the price of a beer stayed the same for Chargers fans this season, it's only a 12-ounce cup, making it tied for the most expensive brew per ounce. The hot dog is tied for most expensive in the league as well. Good thing the team has the cheapest ticket prices to make up the difference.

• Price of a Beer: $11.50
• Price of a Hot Dog: $6

The prices of brews and dogs remained the same at the Superdome for the 2022 season, but they're still above the league average by a not-insignificant margin.

• Price of a Beer: $6.75
• Price of a Hot Dog: $6

Washington was one of the seven priciest games to attend in the NFL last season, with the $14 price for a beer leading the league. This season, beer has fallen to a more reasonable $6.75, though a hot dog went up $1. It's still a big decrease in the overall cost to head to a game in Washington. 

• Price of a Beer: $9
• Price of a Hot Dog: $5

Though the price of beer in Kansas City is up to $9 from $8.50 last season, it's still an improvement over seasons past. Until fairly recently, the Chiefs charged double-digit prices for a draft. Even better: hot dogs went down a dollar.

• Price of a Beer: $7
• Price of a Hot Dog: $6.50

The price of a hot dog and beer increased by 50 cents each at Browns games this season. Last year, the team had the largest Fan Cost index increase in the league, going up 17.9%. This season wasn't much better: Fans are seeing another 11.6% jump.

• Price of a Beer: $7
• Price of a Hot Dog: $3.25

Despite beer price increasing 50 cents, it's still cheaper than the league average in Baltimore. It's only a 12-ounce beer, but it's hard to complain about $3.25 hot dogs.

• Price of a Beer: $9.50
• Price of a Hot Dog: $6

The prices of brews and hot dogs are unchanged at Cowboys games from last year. Those prices are just above average, while ticket prices are lower than the league average.

• Price of a Beer: $6
• Price of a Hot Dog: $5.25

The cost of a hot dog jumped 25 cents in Houston for the 2022 season, while the cost of a beer remained the same in a reversal of last season's prices. Those prices are still under league averages, but high ticket prices still push the Texans' rank lower in the Fan Cost index.

• Price of a Beer: $10.50
• Price of a Hot Dog: $6.75

A beer costs 50 cents more this season at a Vikings game, while a frank went up 25 cents. The beer is a good deal despite the price tag, considering fans get a 20-ounce pour, the stadium equivalent of a large.

• Price of a Beer: $11
• Price of a Hot Dog: $8

Though the $11 price of a beer at a Los Angeles Rams game didn't change since last season, it's only a 12-ounce cup, making it tied for most expensive per ounce. Similarly, the $8 hot dog is tied for the highest price in the league. 

• Price of a Beer: $8
• Price of a Hot Dog: $6

The Broncos upped the price of a cold one and a hot dog by 50 cents each, keeping the price of a beer under the league average, but pushing the hot dog over the threshold. 

• Price of a Beer: $9.49
• Price of a Hot Dog: $7.49

Prices are all over the board in Seattle this season. A beer went down $1.01, which puts the price per ounce just above the league average. But hot dogs jumped almost $3 to well above the league average after being one of the cheapest items last season.

• Price of a Beer: $5
• Price of a Hot Dog: $3

Prices for both a brew and a dog plummeted at MetLife Stadium in 2022. Beer fell $6 to well below the league average, while a hot dog costs $3.50 less than last season. Thanks to the high price of tickets, though, the Giants are still the ninth most expensive team to see.

• Price of a Beer: $10
• Price of a Hot Dog: $6.94

The Steelers added 71 cents and 85 cents to the price of a beer and hot dog, respectively. That means this season it still costs you more than $16 for a beer and dog at Heinz Field.

• Price of a Beer: $12
• Price of a Hot Dog: $7

The prices of a cold one and a hot dog in Tampa Bay went up by 50 cents this season, the same increase as last season. Overall, Tampa's Fan Cost index score rose 12.7% from last season, the largest increase in the league. Must be the Tom Brady effect.

• Price of a Beer: $11
• Price of a Hot Dog: $7.50

With nearly a century of tradition dating to 1924, Soldier Field is the NFL's oldest stadium. The price of hot dog there increased over last year, but only by a 25 cents. The price of a beer is the same for the third season in a row.

• Price of a Beer: $11
• Price of a Hot Dog: $6.25

A trip to the Linc will cost you. Though a beer isn't any more expensive this season, a hot dog runs 25 cents more than last season, contributing to the Eagles being the fifth-priciest football stadium outing in the NFL, one spot worse than last year.

• Price of a Beer: $9.50
• Price of a Hot Dog: $6.25

The beers and dogs at Lambeau cost a bit above average, with the frank price increasing 25 cents this season. And in terms of the overall cost to see a game, the Packers are among the top four most-expensive team games.

• Price of a Beer: $11.50
• Price of a Hot Dog: $5.50

San Francisco's season ticket holders get a member inclusive menu that gives them 15 common menu items — including hot dogs — at no charge. Fans who aren't season ticket holders pay $5.50 for hot dogs, and everyone has to pay $11.50 for beer, contributing to the Niners' spot as third-most expensive game to attend.

• Price of a Beer: $10.50
• Price of a Hot Dog: $4.50

In terms of overall costs of taking the family to a game, the Patriots are the second-most expensive team in the NFL. But the high cost can't be blamed on the 20-ounce beers that go for $10.50 and hot dogs that are cheaper than the $5.87 league average.

• Price of a Beer: $10
• Price of a Hot Dog: $3

The Raiders dropped the price of its hot dogs to just $3 this season from $8, though a beer costs $1 more. For the third year in a row, Allegiant stadium is the most expensive spot to catch an NFL game, even though the team's Fan Cost index decreased 5.2% from last season.
