Along with eating more of the right foods, it also pays to avoid certain foods — perhaps not quite so easy. One shining example is saturated fats. They are found in many animal-based foods, such as red meat and dairy products made from whole or 2% milk. Saturated fats are also found in many processed and fried foods, which, while tasty and popular, should be minimized or avoided.
