Curbside Enthusiasm

While we're supposed to be living in a contactless world, things like running to a store or grabbing dinner can get kind of complicated. The good news is, a lot of these businesses have adapted to the times quite quickly (in fact, many of them have been doing this since before COVID-19), and finding curbside pickup is not that difficult. Take a look at these 14 restaurants and retailers making it so easy you don't even have to get out of your car.

Applebee's

Eating good in the neighborhood (or, as comic John Roy once joked, where the 94 off-ramp meets the back of a Best Buy) is easy as can be right now as long as you've got the Applebee's app. Just open up the app, order your food, and they'll bring it right to your car.

Chili's

Things are similarly easy at Chili's, where all you have to do is order online and pull into one of their designated curbside pickup spots. Chili's is sneakily a whole lot better than a ton of the other restaurants in its class of national chains, so this is a big deal.

Dick's Sporting Goods

Dick's is closed to the public right now (let's face it, most of the stores are in malls anyways), but zero-contact curbside pickup is still available. Buy your sports apparel, Hydroflasks, fishing equipment, or any of the other million things they sell on their website, tap the "Check In" button when you arrive, and a team member will bring your stuff to the back of your car.

Outback Steakhouse

If not even an apocalyptic virus can keep you from your Bloomin' Onion, we get it. The stuff is pure magic. Simply hit the Outback Steakhouse website, find your local spot, and fill your cart with all the Bloomin' Onions they can cook.

Kohl's

Limited-contact store drive-up is the only way Kohl's is operating at the moment, which means this will be nice and easy for you. The home supply store has a ton of discounts and coupons floating across their website, so be sure to keep an eye out for those. The best part, of course, is that if whatever you order is too heavy for the employees to bring out, Kohl's will deliver it straight to your curb.

Panera Bread

Not only is Panera able to still get their league-leading soups to your car during these uncertain times, but they've also switched into full on bodega mode by offering groceries like produce, dairy, and of course, lots of baked goods. Grocery stores are a nightmare at the moment; this is clutch.

Fleming's Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar

The entire roster of the impressive Fleming's menu is available for pickup right now, and that includes their Tuesday-only tomahawk special. Let's not pretend like that's something you're capable of making on your own, so treat-yourself nights are still possible in the age of COVID-19.

Potbelly

As one of the most underrated sandwich chains in the game, it's good to know that Potbelly is still finding a way to get you their sandwiches (it's also nice to be able to skip their signature long lines). Order your sandwich on their website, and head over to the shop for curbside pickup. They're also doing larger catering orders online too, so if you're part of an essential business, you can still get food for your whole team.

DSW

Though shoes may not be the most needed thing in the world right now since we can't go outside anyways, DSW is still making things easy with curbside service. On second thought, why not grab yourself some new running shoes? Now's about as good a time as any to take up jogging.
