The Most Expensive Celeb Homes on the Market

Celebrity real estate is a world unto itself, one of seven- to eight-figure properties that are either homes to the stars or investment opportunities that appreciate with time. These are some of the more lavish homes of the rich and famous recently on the market, but even the more modest homes on this list tend to be stars in their own right, including the Beverly Hills mansion owned (but never lived in) by rapper Travis Scott and "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star Kylie Jenner.

Beverly Hills, California

The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star and her on-again, off-again partner and rapper (as well as the father of Jenner's two children) bought the seven-bedroom, 10-bathroom mansion in 2018 for $13.5 million as an investment property and never lived in it together. The 1.1-acre property has a swimming pool, spa, three-car garage, built-in barbecue, and detached guest house.

Los Angeles

The famed comedian known for "The Carol Burnett Show" bought this 13th floor, three-bedroom, three-bath condo in 2002 for $1.26 million. Now, she's putting the place on the market at a nice markup. Situated in the city's Westwood neighborhood, it has just over 2,500 square feet of living space, walnut floors, stone countertops, surround sound speakers, and floor-to-ceiling walls of glass with two verandas.

Miami Beach, Florida

The rapper known as Lil Wayne is putting his seven-bedroom, nine-bath mansion on the market for a whopping $29.5 million — a nice profit after buying it in 2018 for $16.75 million. The mansion, which is located in an exclusive gated community, has a three-car garage, a wine cellar, a movie theater, and a large pool. The kitchen also has separate staff quarters.

Los Angeles

The Black Sabbath rocker and his wife have had enough of LA living and are reportedly moving back to the U.K. after 25 years in America. They're listing their main residence, a villa-style manor on one of the most exclusive streets in Hancock Park. The 11,565-square-foot home features six bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, and elaborate, decadent touches such as a huge closet in the master suite that could double as its own store.

Malibu, California

Having bought another home across the street for $9 million, the two-time Oscar nominee is unloading this one after just a year — and asking for $6 million more than he paid for it. The four-bedroom, four-bathroom oceanfront home has a dry sauna, a pool, an outdoor kitchen with a bar and barbecue, and an attached garage.

Brentwood, California

The home of the late "Full House" star is going on the market for lots more than it was purchased for in 2003, likely due in part to smart home updates made by the pair shortly after purchase. Saget and his second wife, Kelly Rizzo, bought the home for $2.9 million. In a family-centric twist Saget would likely appreciate, the property is now listed with Saget's own nephew, Adam Saget, of Compass. Featuring a dual-sided fireplace, a two-story living room, a swimming pool, a spa, and a guest house, the six-bedroom and seven-bathroom property stretches across 6,600 square feet.

Toluca Lake, California 

Funny man Bob Hope once lived the luxe life indeed in this 10-bedroom, 17-bathroom estate that features plenty of indoor-outdoor living space. Hope's original oak library has been preserved, and so has the one-hole golf course he designed. The legendary entertainer's personal office has also been restored, and there's a home theater, gym, sauna, tennis court, and saltwater pool.

New York

Jackson bought this Manhattan condo in 1998 for $2.8 million, but she hasn't been inside since 2019, according to The Wall Street Journal — and now she's willing to let it go. The 34th floor three-bedroom is at One Central Park West, which is attached to the Trump International Hotel. The buyer gets access to the hotel's amenities, which include room service from Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s eponymous restaurant. According to a spokesperson at Sotheby's, Jackson is selling because “it’s time for someone else to enjoy it and make new memories."

Bellevue, Washington

Now that quarterback Russell Wilson has been traded to the Denver Broncos, it's no surprise he and wife, R&B singer Ciara, are putting their Washington state home up for sale. The six-bedroom, seven-bathroom property is listed for $28 million — a far cry from the $13.4 million the couple initially spent.  

Los Angeles 

The hip-hop star has actually compiled three properties in the celeb-favorite Hidden Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles, creating a multihome estate worth millions. But now Drake is rumored to have set his sights on a Beverly Hills estate worth over $70 million, and is selling this over-the-top spread, the "YOLO Estate," which can be separated or purchased together for a cool $22.2 million. The most expensive of the three homes features 12,500 feet of space, seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms. Behind a hidden door is a 2,000-square-foot master suite with an enormous closet, a soaking tub with a fireplace, and a wet bar. But that's the least of it — there's a pool with waterfalls, an 80-foot rock waterslide, a spa grotto, and a swim-up bar; courts for tennis, basketball, and sand volleyball; stables and an equestrian ring; a 25-seat theater; and your very own mechanical bull. YOLO — you only live once — indeed.

Columbus, Indiana

This six-bedroom, 11-bathroom luxury log cabin is currently the most expensive listing in the state of Indiana — and for good reason. Built on 415 acres, the racing legend's nearly 20,000-square-foot house comes with an 8,700-gallon indoor aquarium, a bowling alley, a six-car garage, a golf simulator, and a gym. It also has a two-story waterfall and a trout stream in the entryway, soaring lodgepole pine ceilings, and a huge antler chandelier. Oh, there's also a hunting preserve on the property. (Too big for you? The property is also zoned for a bed-and-breakfast.)

Westwood, California

Musician The Weeknd is ready to say goodbye to his four-bedroom, eight-bathroom condo, which he bought in 2019 — and he stands to make a tidy profit if he gets his asking price. The luxurious unit, which takes up the entire 18th floor, is 7,950 square feet and has a great room with a bar, dining area, two balconies, and an adjacent wine vault. There's also a home gym and an espresso bar. And if you're wondering what The Weeknd will do with his, um, weekends once he moves, he recently bought a 33,000-square-foot mansion in Bel-Air for a cool $70 million.

New York

This condo conversion cost Leonardo DiCaprio $10 million in 2014, so this property is kind of a bargain — especially if you're into wellness. Though it looks like your typical swanky New York loft, there is a laundry list of spa-like features including in-duct aromatherapy, Vitamin C-infused showers, a herbarium in the kitchen, a lighting system designed to sync up with your circadian rhythm, and even reflexology flooring designed to help your posture. Because … apparently that's a thing.

Upper East Side, New York

After Rivers died in 2014, her penthouse apartment was bought by an unnamed member of a Middle Eastern royal family for $28 million. Just five years later, the four-bedroom, five-bathroom property is back on the market with a $10 million bump on the price. For the price, a new owner gets prime views of Central Park and 5,200 square feet of living space, not counting the outdoor terraces.

Cody, Wyoming

The rapper and ex-husband of Kim Kardashian is no longer loving Wyoming, it seems. Despite planning to make this quiet city the home base for his company two years ago, he's now putting his massive ranch on the market. Monster Lake Ranch has 3,888 acres and two freshwater lakes for trophy fishing. In addition to a horse facility and livestock corrals, there's a go-cart track. For those who want to stay indoors, there's a commercial kitchen inside the lodge, too. 

Sparkill, New York

The star of 1947's "My Wild Irish Rose" and mom of actor Lorenzo Lamas is selling her six-bedroom, four-bath home just 30 miles from Manhattan. The three-story home dates back to 1859 has a swimming pool and three-story barn. While the home takes up just 3,380 square feet. It sits on a large 7.32-acre lot.

Calabasas, California

Super Bowl champ Clay Matthews, who spent one season on the Los Angeles Rams, is now a free agent, allowing him and HGTV design star (and wife) Casey Noble to sell their Calabasas home and relocate to Nashville. The seven-bedroom, 11-bath home was built by the couple after their 2015 wedding and features a 15-person movie theater, a wine cellar, a nine-car garage, and a pool.
