You don't have to spend a fortune to have a fabulous Fourth of July getaway. In many places, it's still possible to find accommodations well under $200 per night for the popular holiday weekend. The price drops substantially lower if you can round up a few fellow travelers and split the cost of a rental with more people. Scouring such sites as Airbnb, VRBO, HomeAway and more, we've found 25 places where it's possible to book a budget-friendly holiday getaway. All costs are based on rentals for the dates of June 30 through July 5, and were researched in late May.

Wilmington, North Carolina

A port city with a historic downtown and a river walk lined with restaurants, galleries and shops, Wilmington is consistently recognized as one of the top places to go for the Fourth of July. This luxe retreat in the heart of historic riverfront Wilmington will set you back just $130 per night.
